Dear Locals,
Effective November 1, 2025, CBC will send ALL pension contributions to the Local of jurisdiction over the performance, instead of directly to the Pension Fund office. See page 8 of the MOU MOU_ENG 2025.pdf /Protocole d’Entente CFM_CBC MOU_FINAL_August 18.docx for exact language.
The reason for this change is that the Locals can better determine the age of the member, as Members who have reached the age of 71 should receive the contribution amount directly. For more information on the age cap for pension contributions, please contact the Fund Office.
Also effective November 1st, an additional 1.5% scale increase, representing a total wage increase of 7.5% in 2025.
